I don’t want a hand sanitizer faith.

I don’t want a hand sanitizer faith.

Two pumps and you’re done.

Instant Jesus

No, I want the every-day-in-the-Truth kind of faith – whether it’s learning the Bible, praying for a friend, or listening to a hurting soul.

I want to use three pumps of soap.

I want to get wet up to my elbows.

I want to cleanse my heart with His light every day.

Because, the reality is, every single moment is ripe for the Enemy.

He knows when to attack.

He knows when I am most vulnerable.

And, for some seasons of my life, I tried to get by with instant sanitizer.

But it was never enough to fight trauma, and grief, and loss.

So, each morning, I immerse myself in His love and promises.

Will there still be pain this life?

Absolutely.

But before the day begins I walk with my Healer.

And He promises to wash away the troubles I face.

In His way.
In His time.

Because there is no surface in my life that God’s grace won’t reach.
